We’ve put together our Anti-Aging Foods guide to answer a common question: Can food age your ass?

You’re damn right it can!

In this guide, you’ll find out what foods will make you look older, the more you eat them.

It’s pretty scary, because these are some of the most popular foods in North America and guys nosh on them on a regular basis.

First, let’s take a look at the enemies of your aging process:

Soda & Energy Drinks

Sugar, sugar and more sugar.

Soda has absolutely no health benefits to offer – Zero, zilch. It truly is one of the worst products in the modern food marketplace.

The sugar overdose brought on by soda has led to an obesity epidemic, and at the end of the day, is it really worth it to put on so much weight to consume something that doesn’t fill you?

As for ‘energy’ drinks, you might as well call them cocaine in a can.

Or, given the horrible ingredients – crank in a can.

Aside from pumping you full of excess caffeine and sugar, they’ll totally wreck your natural sleeping cycle.

Alcohol

A healthy liver means healthy skin.

When your liver is functioning well, toxins that could potentially affect the skin are expelled naturally through your body.

But if toxins build up in your liver, and aren’t broken down properly, your skin can develop a variety of issues, like acne, sallowness, and wrinkles.

To top it off, alcohol is dehydrating and bad for your sleep, which was associated with accelerated aging because inadequate sleep is linked to wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and reduced skin elasticity.

Not all alcohol is bad – the French have a custom of drinking two glasses of wine each night and actually benefit from it.

Beer, on the other hand, while lower in alcohol content than wine, is loaded with gluten, which comes with a host of health-blocking problems.

If you can stick to wine, you’re fine.

Beer and hard liquor are ok in moderation and really should be as limited as possible, as these two alcohol classes will age you faster.

Potato Chips

If you’re craving something crunchy, try Keto cheese crackers or chopped veggies like zucchini sticks or celery…

…because the ingredients in potato chips will dry up your internal fountain of youth super fast.

Why?

Because there’s a double whammy of artificial additives AND trans fats that inhibit cell respiration, which impacts your skin’s appearance.

Deep Fried Fast Food

Restaurants will typically use canola oil, one of the unhealthiest oils – it’s garbage.

I’m not just repeating something I heard here – I used to work as a cook and restaurant owners are always looking for ways to save a buck.

Once again, the main result of consuming this crap is the release of age-accelerating free radicals.

See why I said this was a little scary?

The foods I just mentioned are eaten on a very regular basis, so do your best to avoid these to preserve your dapptitude for as long as possible.

Bread

Yup – the staple of the majority of the world’s households.

If we shot down beer in the alcohol section, damn right, we’re going to take down bread.

Have you read Wheat Belly yet?

If not, here’s a very quick reason not to eat this shit anymore – what our ancestors consumed in the way of baked dough is now gone.

Those pure strains of wheat they used no longer exist.

All we have left are unnatural strains of wheat that have been completely bastardized by genetic modification, cross-pollination and bad re-migration choices.

In other words, it’s impossible to get truly healthy bread.

Opting for things like rye, sourdough or whole wheat is like choosing menthol cigarettes over ‘conventional cigarettes’ – just doesn’t make sense.

Soy Products

Ever tried going vegetarian?

If so, chances are you tried at least a couple of soy products.

While the vegetarian / vegan agenda has you convinced that ANYTHING is better than eating animal products.

Maybe for the animals, but not for you.

Soy is a heavily refined product – which is a strike right off the bat.

Also, despite what food pyramids might tell you, beans (RE: legumes) are very bad for the intestinal tract for many people. Another strike.

In short, soy is the non-meat eater’s hotdog.

Anti-Aging Foods That WILL Help

Water – Since dehydration is one of the main factors that contributes to older looking skin, aim to drink the recommended 8-10 glasses of water per day…especially if you’re consuming alcohol or working out.

Animal Fat – Next time you buy a whole chicken, keep the bones and boil them down into a stock.

The Jewish community doesn’t refer to chicken soup as “Jewish penicillin” for nothing – when it comes to anti-aging foods, it’s a classic.

Same goes for any food that requires oil to roast / sautee – subbing out a poor quality, unhealthy fat like canola oil for duck fat will increase your vitality.

NATURAL fat is GOOD.

What’s also good for your physical health is to maintain a strong degree of mental health – check out how you can do that with micro-dosing here.

Common Anti-Aging Foods Myths

In this section, we’re going to cover what old school “health professionals” can’t evolve past.

This also covers what special interests groups and food industry lobbyists would love for you to believe.

Sodium – Sodium contributes to water retention and an overall ‘puffy,’ aged appearance.

This is like blaming the wind for blowing crap that gets stuck in your pores.

Yes, salt does cause dehydration is you have more of it, than water.

Without adequate salt intake, your health will fail you.

For more info, watch the video below:

Bacon – The fat in bacon is indeed very plentiful for your health.

All animal fats are great anti-aging foods.

While bacon and its fat content is good for you, there is a caveat to consider.

Preservatives used in processed meats may create free radicals within the body.

Free radicals lead to oxidation of your cells and DNA, this MIGHT cause enough damage to contribute to cancer or other health conditions.

Jury’s still out on this one.
